Sri Lanka Studies Network PhD Thesis Indexing Project Homepage

Introduction

Sri Lanka Studies Network has initiated to compile an electronic index of all doctoral thesises conducted on social sciences related subjects on Sri Lanka, its people and cultures. The scope of this activity covers all doctoral degrees irrespective of its degree awarding institutions, authors' nationalties, or language of the thesis. Details for 600 thesises are now ready with the project team.

This exercise will be unique as it will be a continously updating knowledge base. SLSNET will present thesis abstract along with bibliographic details and information abouth the thesis advisor/s. Other formats of availability such as journal articles and books based on the original work will also be available.
